You know how much space my MS Word, a popular word processor takes up on my drive space? A lot!
Remember when data bases were software? Now they're web-based! For example, Purposeware.
I like things that are simple, ground breaking and easy for all to get involved in. Kind of like blogger.
Well, I have found a new product that I wanted to make everyone aware of. It's called Buzzword. www.buzzword.com. It's a truly free web-based word processor. It's so hot Adobe just acquired it. I have been working with it for a bit now, and I am really impressed with it. Plus, since it's online, you can access your document anywhere, and use it collaboratively with your staff, someone in a different country, anyone with a web connection, regardless of the operating system. You can even access it from some phones or pda's! Just thought I would point you to it in case you were as frustrated as I am about the choices for simple word processing.

Barry, If you like on-line accessability for your stuff, you need to check out google docs. All on line, you can invite others to collaborate with you and share them with anyone. We use it religiously.. no offence.
